Pier-Gabriel Lajoie, born July 10, 1994, in Greenfield Park, Quebec, Canada, is a Canadian actor and model.

 

Lajoie made his acting debut in 2011 in the filming of the third season of the popular television series ’30 Vies’ in Quebec.

 

Thanks to his exposure in televion, he was discovered by Guillaume Lambert who introduced him to his first audition for the acclaimed film ‘Gerontophilia’ playing the role of Lake, a young man who takes a job in a nursing home and develops a romantic and sexual attraction to a senior citizen resident in the facility.

 

Lajoie is also a model, and appeared in the Calvin Klein Fall/Winter 2014 runway show, British GQ and Tetu magazine.

How discovered:
It has a lot do to with my first experience as an actor for a popular series here in Quebec. Guillaume Lambert discovered me there and it’s because of him that I had an audition (first I ever did in my life) for this movie called Gerontophilia from Bruce Labruce. I ended up landing a leading role. Then, I shot with Gus Van Sant (who saw me in Gerontophilia) for British GQ. The stylist who was on that shoot works for Calvin Klein and sent images of me to his team. They liked me. It all started there!

 

Favorite music, band:
Hip hop, art beat, Quebec artists such as Dumas Dumas, movie soundtracks, Pink Floyd.

 

Favorite movie, tv show:
A Clockwork Orange

 

Favorite designer, fragrance or beauty product:
Calvin Klein

 

What would you be doing if you weren’t modeling?
I would keep working as an actor, but I truly believe I can combine both!

 

Favorite modeling experience so far?
The shooting I did for British GQ with Gus Van Sant, Panos Yiapanis and the whole amazing team who worked on it.

 

What’s the best thing about your hometown/country?
My family and friends are still there!

 

Which brand would you really love to model for?
For now, I’ve worked with Calvin Klein and i loved my experience. Otherwise, i am more than open to other brands.

Currently you’re obsessed with/about:
I really like the fact that I have the chance to combine two artistic fields that I’m passionate about and build my career out of it. The fashion industry is still new to me, and I love it.
