I know you can't do much about darkness (well... you could post process them an add gamma to each one..) but you could obtain larger images quite possibly, and maybe some physical feature would become more visible and help with an id. Have you tried using google image? It will try to find these images on the web and try to figure out who (or what) they are.http://www.google.com/imghp?hl=en&tab=wi Drag any (or a few/all, 1 at a time) of them from your desktop to the google edit/image box, and drop it there.
