modelknowledge Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 Where did you get this picture? Is it from an ad or catalog? Quote
Nar Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 ^I looked and I found a blog post about him. Apparently, his name is Marc Banasiac but I couldn't find him anywhere else. Here's the link of the blog post (the ad is presumably for german brand J Philip): http://malemodelsinsuits.blogspot.com/2012/07/marc-banasiac-for-j-phillip.html Can anybody confirm? Quote
modelknowledge Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 There is a Marc b at pma models but I can't tell if it's him because I'm on a mobile device. Quote
Nar Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 Doesn't look like him at PMA models however, I think I found him at Nevs models and Independent Men Models: http://www.nevsmodels.co.uk/models/marc-b http://www.independentmen.it/Models/0-4222/marc-b-.html I didn't even get the idea to look for a "Marc B". I kept looking for Marc Banasiac so thanks modelknowledge Quote
modelknowledge Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 No problem. A lot of agencies only use first names or first names and initials. You are lucky he works outside of Germany and that you were able to find him that way. there are several agencies like PMA that you have to go to their site to see if the model is there. you can't just google models name. this model has to have a German agency to book work from a German client. Ford Models is another one of those sites. As is Woman Management as well as others. Looking at his other agencies, he works with a lot of German clients like S.Oliver which books from Hamburg. You need to find his German agency because he looks like he gets a lot of work from there if he doesn't already have a thread. Knowing his agencies is important for finding shows and editorial work. With the exception of editorial work, everything about the modeling world is Geographic based. If you're looking at a German ad, you need to look for a model with a German agency which really helps narrow it down a lot. You be surprised how one tiny piece of information sometimes helps another person identify a model like searching for a model with just a name and initial. Quote
