The show, sponsored by Bella Salon & Spa of Hagerstown in partnership with The Maryland Theatre, featured a silent auction and hair fashion show. Christy Turner, salon director, said the event was modeled after Redken symposiums held in Las Vegas, where the latest trends in hair, makeup and clothing are presented in a high-energy format. Some 350 tickets were sold for the Hagerstown event, which raised more than $10,000, according to Turner.
