Born on October 5, 1970 in Seattle, Washington, Josie Bissett is an actress best known for her role on the hugely popular 90s series Melrose Place. So popular, in fact, that she has reportedly appeared on magazine covers 40 times, including Rolling Stone and Entertainment Weekly.

Josie Bissett’s acting career began when she was 12 as a print and television model. At 16, she left her Seattle home to move to Japan and further her career. A year later, however, at 17, she moved back to Hollywood to pursue her dream. Her first project was on The Hogan Family where she spent two seasons. After a couple of years from arriving at Los Angeles, Bissett landed what would turn out to be her most identifiable role ever on Melrose Place. She did not look back after such, appearing on a variety of projects, such as the movies The Fire Above and Dare to Love, and a string of made-for-TV films, such as Deadly Vows, The Doors, Book of Love, Mikey, and Baby Monitor: Sound of Fear and the original ABC telefilm I Do, They Don’t, a romantic comedy. She also appeared several times on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Josie has also had a lot of hosting jobs, such as on Parenting & Beyond for parents and Teach more, Love More, another family show. She has also written her first children’s book called Tickle Monster.
