Graduating from Columbia University in 2006, Platt became a research analyst at a hedge fund. Swapping out her Chanel jackets for chaos theory, long hours at the office left Platt only minutes and a mascara wand before hitting the benefit circuit post-work. This prompted the platinum-haired beauty to start Vênsette.com, a members-only Web site that allows its users to select from pre-styled hair and makeup options, starting at $250 for in-home visits by professional hair and makeup artists. Makeup options range from a natural, sun-kissed look to red-lipped Grace Kelly regalness, while hair styles run the gamut from a slicked-back ponytail (The Tribeca) to a classic, iron-straight middle part à la Gwyneth Paltrow at the Oscars.
