Flight

A pilot with a substance-abuse problem has to land a crippled airliner in this Robert Zemeckis-directed drama for Paramount Pictures. Real Steel's John Gatins provides the script. Denzel Washington heads up a cast that includes The Hurt Locker's Brian Geraghty, along with John Goodman and Don Cheadle.

This movie was amazing!!! One of Denzel's FINEST performances to date. The previews lead you to believe the movie will be more about Denzel being a troubled hero. But without giving away too many spoilers, his addiction to alcohol and dependency on drugs is portrayed so phenomenally in this movie. Denzel's character is truly despicable but charismatically and dark-horse hilarious. John Goodman in yet another amazing film this year (he had a small role in Argo as well). I was really surprised by Flight. I was going in thinking I knew exactly what to expect. A good movie, with a predictable Denzel. Not at all...not at all!!!!!!
