In later years she has appeared on the covers of Vogue and Cosmopolitan and made frequent appearances in the annual Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue. In 1990 Hunter married pop star Rod Stewart. (She was 21 and he was 45.) The couple had two children, Renee (b. 1992) and Liam (b. 1994), before separating in 1999. Hunter has acted in several smaller films, including , Two Shades of Blue (2000, with Gary Busey), Rock Star (2001, with Mark Wahlberg) and Redemption of the Ghost (2002, with Alexandra Paul).
