Attended New Jersey's Burlington County College in order to study broadcast journalism. However, she soon pursued a modeling career. She secured on of the top agents in the industry and soon found herself on the catwalks in Europe. When Shana returned to the U.S. she won the Hawaiin Tropic contest in 1995.
