Princess Ameerah al-Taweel is the second wife of the Saudi businessman His Royal Highness Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal. She is the vice-chairwoman of the Board of Trustees of the Alwaleed bin Talal Foundation, a Local and Global, non-profit organization dedicated to supporting programs and projects aimed at poverty alleviation, disaster relief, women’s empowerment and interfaith dialogue, and also sits on the Board of Trustees of Silatech, an international youth employment organization.

She is a graduate of the University of New Haven, West Haven, Connecticut, United States, with a degree in business administration. In 2010, Princess Ameerah received the ITP Special Humanitarian Award on behalf of the Alwaleed bin Talal Foundation at the Arabian Business Achievement Awards ceremony.
