January 22, 201213 yr Author Karolin was born in Rio de Janeiro, taking her first steps at the Copacabana. Feeling the warm sand under her baby feet shaped her life as now she can never get enough of exotic countries and exploring different cultures. As a kid, she traveled extensively with her parents and after finishing school in Hamburg, the world was her oyster. In the past years, she lived, studied and worked in Michigan, Malaga, Mexico City, Paris and New York.
