Born in Nashville, Tennessee on Oct. 28, 1952. She made her acting debut in 1978's "Corvette Summer" but she is best known for playing Janine in "Ghostbusters" and Mary Jo in "Designing Women".

She is currently a drama professor at Stephens College.
