COP11 Posted April 24, 2010 Share Posted April 24, 2010 Spangler Arlington Brush was born in Filley, Nebraska on August 5, 1911. Film debut was in 1934 in "Handy Andy". Febuary of 1944 he helped create the Motion Picture Alliance for the Preservation of American Ideals. In 1947 he testified before the House Un-American Activities Committee regarding fellow actors that he believed were communists. After this he was called The Conspirator and many refused to work him.
