I only left because of the Army. Been to Boston a few times, mainly to go to Fenway Park. Figured the way old ballparks are disappearing I better go before it's too late. I was real happy to see the Sox finally win the big one. Ted Williams is my #2 fav player of all time.

Not a big Michigan fan, but they are a good team and have a lot of tradition. But give them credit, they Bama in 2000

sad thing is, they got rid of all the old parks too build those multi use stadiums, and now they got rid of those to build the retro looking parks. Fenway and Wrigley are now the hip parks again, lol.

Williams was great, probably the greatest hitter ever. my fave palyer of all time I think is Yaz.

Hell, what classic movie is bad, they had the greatest actors and actresses with the greatest chemistry and scenes ever.

agreed, loads of tension, none of the over-sexualized scenes that everyone requires now

Just pure acting, that's all that was needed

Yep Leigh and gable had great chemistry even though she said she hated to kiss him due to his smokers breath

I think that probably helped to keep the tension there as well for the characters

And what ever off screen issues there was, what they did on screen they made us believe it was real.
