Posted August 14, 200915 yr Amelia Mary Earhart ) was a noted American aviation pioneer, and author. Earhart was the first woman to receive the Distinguished Flying Cross, awarded for becoming the first aviatrix to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. She set many other records, wrote best-selling books about her flying experiences, and was instrumental in the formation of The Ninety-Nines, an organization for female pilots. During an attempt to make a circumnavigational flight of the globe in 1937, Earhart disappeared over the central Pacific Ocean near Howland Island. Fascination with her life, career and disappearance continues to this day. So we'll let her start off this thread.

August 25, 200915 yr Author Hey Railroad,I thought for sure you would have put this one on here Dear Ms. Mickilala, Thank you very much for sharing your pretty picture of the mysterious dark eyed woman who seems to be daring me personally to join her on a dangerous flight into the unknown. It is very nice but I don't know why you would think I would be particularly fond of it? I like all models and and all pictures equally. And I never obsess over one particular person. But just to be fair to your point of view I'll give a second look to this bewitching siren who' I've never seen before and mere glance pierces me to my very essence... Nope. Nothing.
