Upon the separation of her parents, Sofia lived with her eldest brother and mother in Marrakech and occasionally visited her father and two sisters in Casablanca. The divorce of her parents wasn't stronger than her, as she never stopped to shine through her obvious talent from the early days of singing at family parties and gatherings. At the age of 16, Sofia had a recording deal to work on a collaborative album with a French-speaking Moroccan singer, but this project was never completed due to production problems. Sofia's biggest appearance as a singer was in the Arabic version of Star Academy that was aired on the LBC in year 2003 Now Check Her OUT !!! So What Do You THINK ?!
