He completed his primary and secondary education in Karadeniz Ereğli (Zonguldak), then in 1995-1996 he attended a fine art oriented high school in İstanbul. At the time he pursued his musical career at various music halls as a backing vocalist.

In 1998 he became the first runner up as the male vocalist in a contest for high school students organized by Milliyet(a Turkish national newspaper).

In 1999 he graduated Bilgi University, Jazz vocalist department.He’s continuing his education at İstanbul Technical University Turkish Classical Music Conservatory since 2003.

Some of the names he worked with(either stage performance or albums): Tarkan, Ajda Pekkan, Shakira, Nilüfer, Nazan Öncel, Nil Karaibrahimgil, Hepsi, Hande Yener. He can be also seen in different recordings of commercials(advertisements) , such as: Mc Donalds, İstikbal and Cola Turka.

Murat Boz released his first single – Aşkı Bulamam Ben (I cannot find love) – in the summer of 2006, single which proved to be a success. Continuing his musical career he released his first album – Maximum – in 2007 which also proved to be a great success and which propelled him even more on the Turkish musical market. Both of his releases were made under Stardium label.
