The 42-year-old Oscar-winner pulled on a T-shirt with more holes than Swiss cheese - though it wasn't a beloved old-favourite piece of clothing. The garment was in fact from Los Angeles-based French designer Henri Alexander's range. The ripped item had the fashionista's brand name on the front - Enfants Riches Déprimés - which means 'depressed rich kids' in French. And as the scruffy piece of clothing cost $190, the price is as distressing as the T-shirt itself. The actor-rocker paired it with black baggy trousers, trainers and black socks decorated with puckered up bright red lips. Jared, who pulled a black hat over his long, unruly, ombre locks, sported a full beard and moustache in the style of the Robertson family in reality show Duck Dynasty. The star was riding around the city with his older brother Shannon Jared is in the city for many work-related events. On Thursday, he appeared at the Times Talks Presents An Evening With Jared Leto at the Times Center for an hour-long web-streamed chat on topics ranging from his career in movies and music to his family. Of course, Jared's performance as Rayon, a transgender woman, in Dallas Buyers Club earned him the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor this year, among numerous other accolades. Meanwhile, 30 Seconds To Mars, the band he formed with with sibling, had a couple of performances lined up - including a concert at Susquehanna Bank Center on Friday in Camden, New Jersey and an acoustic performance in Brooklyn on Sunday.

The 42-year-old Oscar-winning actor performed a skit with Jimmy before joining him for an interview.
