Mameha, when people get to the extreme your speaking of it's often a sign of obsessive compulsive disorder. Like any other mental disorder these people need serious professional help, the last thing they need is more judgement.

It's not judgment if you're seeing this behavior and want to intervene on the person's behalf..if a loved one suffered from a drinking habit and I pointed out the damage it was causing it's not "judgment"..it's simply wanting to put an end to risky behavior..addicts often can't see the situation clearly

Quick mention:

My mom has had cosmetic surgery, but it was reconstructive. Plastic surgery definitely has its uses in cases like that.

^I'm not against plastic surgery if it's a case like that...I'm more referring to the women who think their life will be greatly enriched if they get a boob job and an inch of fat sucked from their inner thighs

I agree.

I'm not against plastic surgery: if people feel that they need breast implants, liposuction, and/or a facelift to be happy, then that's fine. I don't give a damn, it's their life.

But all too often I also hear about teenage girls who are seriously thinking about a boobjob or liposuction. I think that's messed up. You can get a great body (maybe even better) by exersizing and working out. It won't enhance your boobs, sure enough, but seriously why does a girl need big boobs? I'm a B-cup. That isn't really big. But a pushup bra can do miracles, just look at Adri. A lot less expensive and safer too. Besides, what's the use of having a bf who's only attracted to your boobs? if there even is such a thing

i agree with you on the plastic surgery teens should not have a plastic surgery bcouse they are not developed yat, people developing till they are like 25 years old

and if somebody desides to do the plastic sergery it is up to them

but i think a plastic surgery have more use in reconstruction or on the part of the body where they can't loose weight and they are really fit

I think that there's nothing wrong with plastic surgery as long as somebody is doing it for themselves and not for anyone else (especially since it is considered serious surgery and requires maintenance for life).

However, I also agree that one should never lie about it. It really is nobody's business but if you don't want to talk about it, then just tell people "no comment" rather than lying to the world that you're "all natural" or "born like this."

In my opinion, no matter the reason/excuse, it's ALWAYS best not to lie. A lie is a lie is a lie regardless of the reason.

I think lying about your surgies also leads to many negative implications for women. But that's a whole other issue...
