Ina Rudolph (born in Brandenburg an der Havel, Eastern Germany/GDR on Apr.22, 1967) is a former model from the formerly socialist part of Germany. Instead of a „model turns actress“ she is an „actress turns model“. She was discovered by photographer (and one of the founders of famous Eastern German „Sibylle“ magazine) Sibylle Bergemann when shooting stage photos at the Deutsches Theater Berlin in 1987. Ina was part of the acting team and Sibylle asked her if she is interested in shooting for Sibylle magazine. Ina then immediately appeared on the cover of Sibylle and her Eastern German modeling career took off. Shortly after in 89/90 the Berlin Wall came down and Ina decided to travel the world using modeling to finance her life. She then did some international modeling and first moved to Munich in the western part of Germany and then worked in Milan, Sydney and other fashion capitals as well as living in Paris for 2 years.

Height: 1,77m / 5‘9 1/2

Hair: brown

Eyes: blue green

In around 1994/1995 Ina decided to move back to the now reunited Germany where she then worked as an actress again.

In the 2000s her focus shifted from acting more towards becoming an acting coach which she still practices today besides own acting and beside being an author as well.

Thanks! 😊 Yes the small scene of fashion in Eastern German is a super interesting and very creative micro cosmos of extremely talented people that managed to create high end material without actually having the possibilities. Sibylle magazine was called the „Vogue of the East“ since the photography and creativity was on an international level. They managed to create fashion without having real fashion at hand. Everything worked with mouth to mouth propaganda only and like this people such as Ina Rudolph were discovered.
