Alice Ormsby-Gore

Alice Ormsby-Gore (1952-1995) was a British aristocrat, model, and socialite associated with London's vibrant cultural scene of the late 1960s. The youngest daughter of David Ormsby-Gore, 5th Baron Harlech, the British ambassador to the United States during the Kennedy era, she grew up in a prominent Anglo-Welsh family. As a teenager, she became part of the fashionable "Swinging London" set and was known for her striking beauty, bohemian style, and connections to artists and musicians. She was briefly engaged to Eric Clapton, and their relationship became one of the more well-known stories of the rock era.

She passed away due to an heroin overdose.

Though she later withdrew from public life, Alice Ormsby-Gore remains a compelling figure whose life reflected both the glamour and the darker undercurrents of Britain's countercultural generation.
