Vilita was our personal favorite from all the contestants at the most recent Ford Supermodel of the World. No need to say how glad we were once we saw they signed her and are currently involved in her development, taking care of building her a rock-solid portfolio that truly allows us to keep our enthusiam and expectations. Hiring one of our favorite photographers in New York, Karl Rothenberger (also check out his blog and be sure not to overlook this shot of Martina Correa pictured - by another photographer Remi Pyrdol - as a pop ballerina dreaming in her kitchen...) to shoot her tests, a part of our expectations are already on a good turn to come true. And if Vilita's eye-catching features and poses on the most simply-looking digitals were enough to capture our attention, what Karl says about her on his blog sound even more important for the next steps in her career: "She also has a great attitude and fun personality, which I have learned, through all this recent shooting, is so much more important for a great photograph than just being beautiful". If you put it together with this more technical aspect: "her face has a bone structure that just seems to attract light perfectly", you've got exactly what it takes to start it right. Just watch Vilita in motion on her video. We might be specialized in lithuanian beauties but this one is specialized in good pictures.

First time we introduced Vilita was when she did some tests with Karl Rothenberger and had a few polas from Ford NY. Now it's time for her first season in the city of lights. Have you seen her at Margiela ? No ? No wonder actually. She was the all-black silhouette gracing the catwalk, entering Paris fashion week like a delicate shadow. She fits easily to these "complicated" castings we love so much, using many new faces and never afraid to go out of the beaten tracks to get the most special ones. A bit like Bernhard Willhelm's. And remember we're specialised in Lithuanian style. Hope they don't break the mold... Or just a little as always, to be sure they make them all unique.
