Sardar Azmoun is an Iranian professional footballer born on 1 January 1995 in Gonbad-e Kavus, Iran. A talented forward known for his speed, aerial ability, and intelligent movement, he rose to prominence after moving to Russia as a teenager to join Rubin Kazan. He later starred for Rostov and Zenit Saint Petersburg, becoming one of the top scorers in the Russian Premier League.

Azmoun went on to play for Bayer Leverkusen in Germany and spent a season on loan at AS Roma before joining Shabab Al Ahli in the UAE.
