She also co-starred in the Green Day video "Jesus of Suburbia". In December 2005, Garner starred in the Off-Broadway production of Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead at the Century Center for the Performing Arts. Garner, who was born in Bakersfield, California, enjoys playing guitar and shopping. She currently resides in Calabasas, California.
