Biography:

She has been working in many years, not a big name, but most in the fashion industry know her name. She has done advertisements for Ambiente, Anna Rita N, Boss by Hugo Boss, Celine, Imitz, Jil Sander, Lacoste, Marc O'Polo, Missoni, Pollini, Pilgrim, Russell & Bromley, and been seen on the cover to magazines likes Oyster, Eurowoman, Numéro, Italian Glamour and Amica, Germanys Vogue, Spanish Marie Claire, Swedish Elle and Norwegian Elle.

She was born on a little place called Smøla, but grew up on Flatåsen in Trondheim. She started to work as a model after a friend of her boyfriend from Sweden worked in a model agency. They took some pictures of her and send her to New York for a month test shooting. Marianne was her in 4 years. She lived a period whit the Norwegian supermodel Sunniva Stordal.

Marianne has worked for big magazine like Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Elle, Numero, Glamour, Marie Claire and Eurowoman. And been on many magazine covers and been on catwalk for many big names like Cerrutti, Claude Montana, Donna Karan, Fendi, Guy Laroche, Laura Biagiotti, Max Mara, Missoni og Iceberg.

Her absolutely best job for Numero magazine, photographed to Sølve Sundsbø. The shoot was so good that she also was getting the covers. She has red hair when she started to work as a model, then she dyed it dark, who was not a big hit. It was Ford Models in New York who came up whit that idée that she dyed it blond and this was a big success.

After many years in New York, she is now living in København, Denmark, still working as a model, but not fulltime. She is also taking acting classes. Her she lived whit her boyfriend and their son Aksel Emil (f.2006)
