Jauzion Out Of France Opener

Yannick Jauzion will miss France's RBS 6 Nations Championship opener against Scotland because of injury.

The centre is currently recovering from a broken hand, which he suffered in Toulouse's Heineken Cup clash with Leicester in mid-December.

Jauzion plans to make his return to action either against Auch on January 25 or a week later against Montpellier.

He may be involved in his country's second Six Nations game, a home match with Ireland on February 9, but he believes a return to the France team for the Stade de France showdown against England on February 23 is more likely.

"I imagine I will be in contention for the third match, because they are going to keep the same 22 for the first two games in the opening week," said Jauzion, who has 50 caps and is a first-choice pick in France's back line.

ENGLAND Vs FRANCE will be phenomenal, explosive and just emotional. It was there @ the same stadium where England ended France's dreams of the World Cup Final last October. It will be all about pay-back for the French and an attempt to hurt France again by England.
