aaah, do you know whereabouts in the thread it is? or perhaps where its from? I don't remember the name of the magazine...I think Forbes or something and credit goes to original scanner. They said on the radio the other day that she shaved her head to get back at her mother...I don't know if that's true. Either way, she's a loser and the excuse "she is depressed" doesn't work. She should think of her kids...I don't feel sorry for her at all...it was her choice to get to where she is right now...her choice to do drugs, smoke and party and date other losers...She wanted attention...she's got it...but in the negative way. I would be embarassed with a mom like her...

That's so true. Beyonce is not THE real woman. My body type is closer to Marisa's...I am thin and toned and athletic. Many of my girl-friends are. And we can turn quite a few heads. And we are as real as it gets. Just because many women in North America are overweight, doesn't mean that's how a woman is supposed to be. A thin, athletic person can be healthy and look great, so stop calling Beyonce "the real woman". I am not saying she is fat, but just because she has a different body type than many models, and just because many women in North America are on the heavier side like she is, doesn't make them better. She doesn't seem fit enough to be on teh cover of SI and that's that.

This is sort of akin to Peyton Manning winning a Superbowl and giving him the Oscar for best actor as a prize. Talented? Yes. But it's the wrong reward. LOL. That's a great analogy!

She wasn't being rasit at all. It's just that other models had better shots and usually the best shot gets to be on the cover. And other girls had better pictures. It's not only the girl in the picture, it's the whole setting of the shot... She never said it was because she was African-American...She said other models...Selita, Oluchi, Jessica...they all look waaaaaaay better in their shots...Selita looks unbelieveble!!!!

I agree. No way Beyonce should have gotten the cover...There were girls with waaaay better shots than hers.
