  2. @Cult Icon Greg Doucette's take is more objective IMO
  3. Dr. Grande's take is pretty bad. I watch Huberman's videos or podcasts sometimes and Grande is far from the truth. There's one or two claims that Huberman had that are contested by other scientsits and there's no clear evidence of who's right or wrong. The rest of Huberman's takes are really and extensively sourced. Grande says that Huberman's podcast want to make his listeners polygamous gigachads... this is completely false and a huge caricature. Grande let his emotions (jealousy, maybe?) speak for him this time. The truth is that "cancel culture" morally condemn Huberman for his (supposed) private life. I can't condone that. The NY magazine behaved like gutter press on this one. The "cancel culture" rise in the US is despicable IMO. This is not the West I like. I hate this gradual shift towards the woke dystopia. This new "holier than thou" mentality is shit.
  4. It's interesting to see how woke people are obsessed with money... Fun fact: adjusted with inflation, the first movies (in terms of money) are 2 movies with Sean Connery and one with Craig (Skyfall, which is indeed a pretty good movie). But "no time to die", which is a pure woke trash (whose aim is to divide people), is low. Ergo, "get woke, go broke"
  5. I liked Pierce Brosnan movies a lot. Roger Moore and Sean Connery as well. Henry Cavill is good, he might be too kind for the role, but he's a good actor so it could pull it off.
  6. No retreat. No surrender.
  7. Critics don't represent people lol. A lot of them belong to big media companies (some of them being owned by movie companies... not very objective) Many (many) people have been hating "modern takes" in many movies. For example, the Marvel movies, Star Wars, Star Trek, etc. Most "modern takes" are divisive. But people resist and will resist. Even if the Hollywood Ogre and its woke cult is big. Because people hope. They hope for less division, less woke BS, more quality, more unity.
  8. No retreat, no surrender.
  9. This is true. A couple of years ago, I thought that environmental issues would unite people, it turns out it divides them now. Maybe it's alright that people are divided, as long as something productive eventually come up. It's not exactly the case right now. For a long time, I considered that American economists had invented some of the greatest concepts. Antitrust laws are particularly genius IMO, but they aren't really applied anymore. Big corporations (especially big tech) are too powerful, but I don't see this as a sustainable situation.
  10. What? No. It's not about that.
  11. Gamers have lots of antibodies against the woke virus. The woke mobsters will lose.
  12. This guy is awesome. Koreans and Japanese games are going to crush Western games if Western studios keep bending the knee to the woke mob. Screw the ESG score. Long live free games!
  13. Which implications? My understanding is that Kathleen Kennedy and her woke goons didn't respect the basic laws. BTW, there won't be many more cases like her. Modern Hollywood is full of neo-McCarthyism (the woke version). All actors have to bend the knee to the far left lunacies... and most of them do. The compliance is high in Hollywood (the ESG terror has the power).
  14. The puritan woke mobs are mad because of this game... and the game is a massive success! I love it
  15. I have heard "experts" saying she has a sure win... so, here's a fair question: how trustworthy are the "experts" in the media? My guess is often times: not so much. 😅 The "experts" I heard said that Disney didn't take all measures to properly fire her (she learned about it on... social media. Not very classy and quite borderline in terms of legality. I guess we'll see what the court has to say in the end (and I hope Disney loses).
  16. That's how I see it as well.
  17. I really like this Taiwanese singer! ❤️
