This week we got the Joker and Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn in a car chase through downtown Toronto, while the rest of Task Force X investigate the scene of a major urban plane crash Unless you were sleeping or off roaming another planet, you couldn't have missed the latest footage of Suicide Squad's Jared Leto caught on set for the first time as the Joker leaked earlier this week. The Toronto set of the DC villain action flick has been one of the most live and porous film shoots we've seen in a while as the movie has basically come together before our social media eyes. After watching an unrecognizable Jared Leto as the Joker and Margot Robbie's Harley Queen engage in an argument in the middle of the highway, we now have incredible new footage of the pair chasing each other through Toronto in rides fit for villains. All the budget the filmmakers have must be going into the shoot, because there seems to be absolutely no security detail to keep fans from continually uploading footage online. But hey, who's complaining? Unfortunately, we'll still have to wait another year catch a glimpse of the final product when Suicide Squad hits theatres in August, 2016. In the meantime, here's another teaser to whet your villainous appetite. While Leto and Robbie were busy using downtown Toronto as their own personal speedway, the rest of the cast -- lead by Will Smith's Deadshot -- was caught on set investigating an elaborately staged outdoor plane crash, providing major insights into the look, not to mention a few plot details, of the upcoming film. In fact, it's looking more and more like the Joker is a separate element from the main Suicide Squad gang, and likely the reason the group, also known as Task Force X, was let out of jail. As the original comic book series goes, the Suicide Squad is a team of super villains that comprise the DC universe.
