Alessandra & Adriana clearly had a great relationship with VS so far so it's a win win for everyone, but I don't see VS crying over losing Tyra, Heidi or Gisele, they pretty much gave zero fucks about them leaving. The only one who got something 'special' was Tyra and it was mostly because she was officially retiring from modeling and not because VS was worried about their $ after she left. Adriana and Alessandra are not making as much with VS anymore either because they cut their work load, the fact that VS let Adriana go back to Maybelline shows you how little they care about it these days. Don't kid yourself Gab, models are replaceable but the VS money pays their girls in most cases is not replaceable or at least not easily, especially when you are 25+ in an industry were you peak at 20 (or younger). That's why the models stick around with the brand for so long if they are given the chance. Back in the 90's and early 00's VS did need famous women to establish themselves and gain loyal costumers, now they have that and they know people will buy their products regardless of who is wearing them, that's why they don't have to get established models like Joan and pay her a shit lot of money when they can have cheap little Grace/Lais/Daniela sell the same product to the same target audience for a cheaper price. As long as they have a bunch of hot babes modeling their stuff I don´t care either. The fact is, that 99% of all starting models would sell their souls to work with the company. Is it really safe to say that? I mean yes, VS is a large company and will definitely always make money. However, part of the allure of the brand is the hot, larger than life supermodels behind it. The likes of Gisele, Heidi, Tyra, Adriana, etc helped make VS the brand that it is today. If that legacy isn't continued, what does it mean for the brand in the future? They need at least SOME star power. Don't you mean to say that part of the allure of the brand is the hot, larger than life supermodels is for us, cause I can promise you the that average person on the street gives zero fucks who modeling the lingerie and they care even less about trying to figure out who they are. It seems pretty safe to assume the average person just want to buy underwear/lingerie without having to go to a million and one stores in the mall to find something remotely stylish or sexy, and because VS is easily the most recognizable place to buy said "stylish" underwear, they consumer will gravitate towards the store to buy regardless. I think what is trying to be said here isn't that VS will go bankrupt without their powerful models. It's just that, VS prides themselves on working with the best of the best. it's a prestige thing for them. A statement To their competitors. It's gullible to think that models like Gisele didn't make any difference in the company when it came to profits or that the Average VS consumer wouldn't recognize Adriana when they see her in the catalogs or billboards. Why do you think when a girl like Adriana or Candice does an event, it has more press coverage and a great turnout or a million times more social media likes than when then Lais and Martha do? They aren't on the same level. I strongly think that, VS' caliber will drop in both the fashion industry and the masses if they use vanilla models as opposed to sex sirens and press staples. They will become another huge company that will keep bringing in the cash but altogether meh.

Wow, looks really are subjective, I remain blind on the Candice-Romee resemblance. I have noticed people on here see a lot of resemblance between other blondes and Candice. I guess to each his own but I know a lot of average people who could tell these models apart even if they don't know their names. Thanks Bryan for the download. So I finally watched it. It was good. Entertaining. Loved most of the girls. This was really a good way to showcase the girls. The vsfs is great but only so much can be done on the runway. Here we see that these girls really are sexy, beautiful and professionals. Behati was one of my favorites The girl was so convincing and cheeky. She was in her element looking laid back and she didn't sound scripted. In fact most of the girls didn't sound contrived. Candice was a little forthright calling herself a vixen and all that, but she wasn't lying tbh. And the girls is outrageously gorgeous so I'll forgive her. Adriana was ok she was a little quiet and tame for some reason. The camera kept focusing on her drop dead gorgeous face because it really is her strongest weapon. I have a friend that can't stand her but is mesmerized by her eyes. Alessandra fit right in with the younger girls. The woman can't be stopped. Too bad they didn't get the underwater shots. Lily does well in everything that is not runway. All the new girls stole my heart. Jac has an amazing body and came off very authentic. Love her. Stella is another story. What exactly is VS playing at trying to transform Stella into a convincing bombshell? I felt secondhand embarrassment for the girl trying to execute sultry poses. And what was that ratty hair they gave her? Martha beautiful but vanilla. I don't think VS was under any illusions. They had to have known the show isn't going to be A hit like the vsfs. The probably got what they wanted out of it
