TKC, I love reading your posts. They give me a lot of insight and make me see/understand things I might otherwise miss. I guess this is a matter of different taste. I love high fashion as much as the next model lover really. I prefer it to commercial modeling. Adriana just doesn't deliver for me sometimes now. Especially her magazine covers. Something always looks off. I can't put my finger on it but it annoys me. I get pleased with the results of other models' work because they always look so natural to me and finished. Adriana just doesn't do that for me sometimes. Might have to do with her agency trying to prove she's high fashion and it doesn't translate gracefully. Her marc Jacobs fragrance campaign looks unfinished, this cover looks too retouched... idk idk Also, I mentioned Gigi because she's getting a lot of praise from her modeling work and people have started to accept her

I am honestly trying not to sound like a hater, but it's proving to be hard. There always seem to be something off about Adriana's modeling work nowadays. Most of her work now looks amateurish or try-hard.... and this woman is supposed to be a seasoned pro. This is the first time ever i find mysmyself not bothering to save her pictures. Maybe she needs to take a break and work on her boby and also take some time to rediscover her modeling skills. Granted, it's not always her fault, it could also be the photographer or at the final selecting of the pictures that gets released, but it's so worrying when girls like gigi can deliver great pictures without so much as winking and Adriana always looks forced. What happened to the Adriana I feel it love with? I think this cover looks cheap. You'd think Russell would capture her beauty better than anyone after all these years, but alas. Ok I take it back, looking at the image again, the cover doesn't look cheap but a little sue to the excessive retouching. Again, not her fault. I just want a great image from her like the old times

It's simply that, her time is up, she knows it, VS knows it. If both parties had their way, Adriana would stay with them forever because she's good for business, but nothing lasts forever so...

Lais definitely is one of the taller girls, Karlie can't be that taller than her. She's up there with them Karlie and Toni. And yea Candice isn't that tall but just like Megan Fox, because they have lanky limbs, they appear taller. Tbh, clothes do look better on taller models, they showcase them more brilliantly. Think Magdalena in a couture floor length gown. Someone like Sara can't hold a candle to that. And Karolina in the footwear campaign, she served some major legs so much that, the she sold me the shoes. Stella can't be more than 5'8

^She'll just wait till 4 weeks before the VS show and start killing herself at the gym. At this point, ranting about the disappointment that is her style is futile. I hope I'm wrong but I don't think her sense of style will ever improve. Her dress was killer, but the make up took away from her overall look. Does she even have a mirror? Oddly enough, the make up looked better when she gave the cameras her right angles and when the lightening was good. The pictures on DM look better. Jesus, she looks otherworldly. I'm gagging! The hair, make up, outfit, attitude all complement each other so ridiculously well. It's so comforting when she takes advantage of her looks to create such jaw dropping moments like this. Those poses in the boat are giving me some serious Jessica Rabbit vibes. Although, the length of the dress is kinda irking me, that can be overlooked. Lets just all savor this moment, we might not have it agaIn.

She'll be in Cannes. I wonder if she'll attend the cfda this year. I prefer that to Cannes. Of course, I'd like it if she attended both, but I feel like that's not gonna happen. I hope I'm wrong

They are not considered fashion models but Kate Upton is? Getting the cover is all about connection and favoritism. I'm sure if Anna really liked Adri and Candice enough, they'd have had a cover already. Most lf these covers sell due to timing. Rihanna has had a lowest selling issue of Vogue before and I'm sure there's no shortage of low selling celebrity vogue covers. Did you see how Vogue hyped that insta-girls cover with Joan, Cara and co? It turned out to be a disappointment. Joan's US Elle cover did really well because she was at a state in her career when she was doing great things and she had people's attention. The editor of Elle said this. There are models/ccelebrities who have landed the cover yet they are below Candice and Adriana when it comes to public recognition (Looking at you Natalia Vodianova)

I completely agree with everything! I just miss seeing her going hard core sexy, I keep rolling my eyes when these new models try to do sexy, like what a waste.... but you're right, she's done it for too long. And i still can't understand why some people debunk everything in fashion she does... meanwhile, she's snatching the weaves of all their faves. I'm all for constructive criticism bt some of them is downright hating
