SI have a chance to make history and they are not going to blow it especially the 50th edition and Kate is there biggest cash cow whether anyone likes it or not she sells like crazy.

so the barbie cover was a ruse to swerve us and is not really the cover? thank god.. why would they have a show to reveal the cover if it was revealed already.. start taking bets on the cover model now!!  my bet is on Kate Upton, she will sell more than Barbie or any other model!

i'd be fine if she didn't return.  with 7 appearances and a cover, she had a nice run.  most cover girls only come back for one issue after their cover; if irina is in this year's, it'll be her third issue after the cover (without being an 'all-star' or 'legend' feature).

 

it's strange when her cover sales flopped hard must be close with SI management

 

i'd hesitant a guess it's her last issue for SI and she only done it this time for a place in history with the SI 50 years special.

not too late for her to rock the SI cover.

she needs to get her ass to NY and Fashion Week a model has to stay relevant and people's minds as modelling is a very competitive industry. I don't know how much Putin paid her for this but i didn't recognize her the outfit covers her i don't like it.. 

do you reckon SI will be around for 100 years of beautiful? i think the bigger changes will be in the next 50 years rather than the last.

so many new rookies! i guess either Bar and/or Irina ain't coming back which is a shame but they had their moment and cover it's not a long term gig at their age in a competitive industry for example i would like to see Jessie White back but it ain't gonna happen! 

 

Can't wait to see who gets the cover.. Kate Upton is the obvious choice and guarantees sales.
