The Double needs to resemble the man pictured, and should wear a 33x30 pant and a size 38-40 coat. He needs to be within 1-inch of 5'9" tall. Photo doubles work on camera in place of the performer who is not available on the shoot day. Pay for Doubles is a guarantee of $120/day for up to 12 hours of filming. Anything over 8 hours will incur overtime.

TODAY’S CASTING CALL August 28, 2021 Men & A Woman Needed for Major Feature Film Men and a woman are needed soon to appear as extras in a major feature film, now shooting in northern Oklahoma. These need to be people who have not previously appeared in the film. Since the film takes place in the 1920s, all men must have a natural hair color and cannot have close-cropped, faded or shaved sides of the head. Modern-day fade hairstyles cannot be used. Men with facial hair are fine, as long as they are willing to have their facial hair altered by the hairstylists on the film. This could mean shaving beards or mustaches and trimming them accordingly. Women cannot have dyed, highlighted or colored hair. Only natural hair colors. IMPORTANT: MEN - Must be a suit size 38-46 WOMEN - Must be a dress size 6 or smaller All persons selected must be able and willing to attend a costume fitting in Bartlesville, OK next week, sometime before September 3. All fitting appointments are during business hours, ending at 5:00 pm. Fitting appointments take around 2 hours.

All the official resources are still reporting mid September, but if they want to stay until October, I’m okay with that. It could be that they will just be filming b-roll footage through October. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m sad that the filming of KOTFM in Oklahoma will wrap up in a few weeks. It’s been fun sharing the experience with you.

The person needs to be within a half-inch either way of the exact height. Not other candidates should apply. A stand-in works on set very closely with the camera and lighting crew, standing in place of one of the main actors in the film. They are used as a focal point for lighting and camera while the actor is off set. The job requires patience and attentiveness. Filming will be between Fairfax and Pawhuska Oklahoma. Pay is a guarantee of $120/day for up to 12 hours of filming. Anything over 8 hours will incur overtime. Travel and lodging are not provided. Covid testing is required, regardless of vaccination status.

I personally do not know them, but my nephew does. One of his friends is involved with them in some capacity. He asked me if I wanted him to get me hired to help with the film catering. It was tempting, but I do already have a full time job I have to do. 😁

What!? C’mon! I do have quite a lot of Native American art and family heirlooms he could view (see photo below). The Sugarwater Museum has a nice ring to it. Seriously though, I keep waiting for pictures of him riding a bike at The Gathering Place to pop up. I’m willing to bet, he has probably visited there at least once already, but no one recognized him.
