Is Diana in teh Italian squad?
Can you gimme a breif run down on his pros and cons?
Diana didn't make the squad, I believe he was suffering from an injury but I could be wrong
He plays on the right side of the midfield for Sampdoria, and he can also play rightback. He's a hard running, combative type who will get forward and score, but he is quite injury prone
Wasn't Liverpool thinking of getting him and Bonera
We were meant to but I'm not sure what's happening now. Rafa said he'd aim to get all our signings in before the WC, but there's been no activity so far, save for a bid for Pennant.
Also, Rafa's now obsessed with Daniel Alves (and rightly so) so I don't think we'll be in the hunt for Bonera, unless we want him to sit on the bench or something
We might still be in the Diana, but chances are we'll bid for Steed Malbranque or Pennant, as they are EPL proven.
Sneijder will be ready for the WCNow he can walk over to his contract and sign for Liverpool
...or Milan

The Men Who Won't Be In Germany
With all the hype around the players in the World Cup it's easy to forget the ones who didn't make it. Here, in F365's rather exciting 3-5-2 formation, are our pick of the missing men...
Goalkeeper - Jerzy Dudek (Poland)
The hero of last season's Champions League final had lost his place at Anfield to Pepe Reina, but no-one expected his position in the national team to follow suit. Dudek was quick off the mark in protest, claiming that he has "never had a bad game" for Poland - conveniently forgetting the 4-0 tonking against Portugal in 2002 that saw him concede more soft goals than you've had hot dinners. The Poles also left out Wolves striker Tomasz Frankowski, who scored seven goals in qualifying, but Dudek was the big shock - and the snub could prompt his Anfield exit.
Right back - Daniel Alves (Brazil)
One of the stars of Sevilla's season, Alves was part of the Brazil side that won the World Youth Cup in 2003. His performances for the UEFA Cup winners (remember that one when Steve McClaren's running the England team) over the last two years have seen both Barcelona and Real Madrid making eyes at him. Alves chances of making the starting 11 were always doubtful with Cafu still in the side, but as heir apparent to the Brazil captain, his place in the squad had seemed nailed-on.
Left back - Javier Zanetti (Argentina)
Arguably (and Ludovic Giuly would argue) the most shocking omission has been Argentina's decision to leave out Inter Milan right-back Javier Zanetti. His inclusion in this team at left-back only serves to underline another reason he was expected to feature for the Argentines - his ability to play practically anywhere on the pitch. With close to 100 caps, Zanetti's experience would also have been valuable, but the apparent rift between the senior and junior players in the squad has seen Jos

Ive heard of De Cock *snickers* Blondel, Portillo and Balaban. Some others sound familiar as well, possibly because I've read the team sheet before...back in teh stone age :|
Aah yes, I forgot the unintentional comedy value of Oli De Cock's name to English speaking people.
I once read a sarcastic article online where they suggested him as the ideal replacement for Gary Neville.
Once a guy in fantasy football had a bench consisting of Butt, Munch and De Cock

They need to sign De Rossi or Sneijder, so Seedorf can be a sub
Sign both
Sneijder was pretty good for Holland today. Too bad the Aussies decided to massacre the Dutch midfield. They dropped like flies and now Sneijder is injured 7 days before the WC
How long is Sneijder out for now?
No idea but he hurt his knee or something and had to be taken to the treatment room for further examining during the match. He coudln't walk

Football
in Sports
They all have their price. Ajax really need to start buying some quality players. They're not doing too well. And yes, this season was a joke. A very very sick joke with a twist at then end.
