  2. Barbie, Thanks for the magazine scans. He really looks like a movie star from the 40s or 50s in that b&w photo. Being stalkerish- Leo may have been i n the Pacfic Grove/Monterey area of California, judging from a pic Toni G. took which showed the Lovers Point Inn in the background - think was taken in the past few days (on her board).
  3. Thanks for the video and the pics
  4. Share 0Share0Tweet0Reddit Filed Under: Oscar Contenders Will Scorsese's 'Wolf of Wall Street' Move to 2014? 7 COMMENTS Might Paramount follow the lead set by Shutter Island By: Brad Brevet Published: Monday, September 23rd 2013 at 11:57 AM I mentioned in my Best Picture Oscar predictions last week that Kris Tapley over at In Contention was suggesting Martin Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street may see its November 15 release date moved and today he's written a piece saying as much while at the same time he wonders "does it go to 2014 or to December?" The film's darkly comedic tone makes it look like something that may fall out of the Academy's wheelhouse, but at the same time it's Scorsese we're talking about and yet another teaming with Leonardo DiCaprio, which has yielded one Oscar nomination for DiCaprio in the past not to mention a slew of other nominations and wins for their previous collaborations. On top of that, Paramount's Oscar slate is beginning to weaken as Jason Reitman's Labor Day doesn't have a mass of supporters and Alexander Payne's Nebraska feels a little volatile at the moment. What must also be considered, however, is this is a business and the last time Paramount shuffled a Scorsese and DiCaprio film out of Oscar season that film was Shutter Island and it went on to become Scorsese's second highest grossing domestic release of all-time and #1 worldwide. Right now Wolf has a pretty nice little slot in the middle of November where it can dominate the adult market for a couple of weeks leading up to Thanksgiving and should the Oscar prospects prove high it may be able to ride a nice little wave through December. Tapley notes, however, the film only just screened for studio execs this weekend and it may contain elements that would receive an NC-17 rating from the MPAA, which clearly would need to be edited out before release. Is a November date even feasible? One thing is for certain, it's a film many of us are looking forward to, me as much as anyone http://www.ropeofsilicon.com/will-scorseses-wolf-wall-street-move-2014/

  6. Agree with these comments: You get some actors who evolve with time, having a career defined by their versatility – Leonardo DiCaprio is a man hard to pin down in one type (other than greatness) and Liam Neeson certainly deserves a mention for his backward trajectory, starting out in Oscar winning films and then moving into mindless (but still entertaining) action – but it’s sadly more common to see an actor purposely get themselves stuck in rut Read more at http://whatculture.com/film/10-tiresome-actors-whove-done-nothing-new-in-the-last-ten-years.php#M79Y7sPQgPh1SdcM.99
  7. thanks - fun to see Leo out and about but a little feel intrusive when he's being videotaped just doing something daily life thing everybody does.
  8. should not feed a troll but The Wolf of Wall Street doesn't need a "hot girlfriend" - it's got Scorsese, DiCaprio, Jonah Hill and the trailer generated one of the biggest buzz of all the upcoming movies this year. And "DUH" -- all actors and celebrities have press agents and publicity agents. And if there is a more guarded celebrity about his personal life, it would be hard to match Leo. If it were true a hot girlfriend is to be touted and draw attention, he wouldn't be pulling tweeter pics and making sure as much as possible he is not publicly photo'ghed with her. Sad that he can date whoever he wants and has a life that anyone would wish - yeah, that is sad. :blueeyedbaby:
  9. I avoid posting / reading here that much also because of what Pink/Nanda stated. It is not about suppressing opinions but realizing what this forum is about. It is not just Leo that this applies - the model threads I have read, the moderators are quite diligent about threads being full of criticisms and discussions into personal opinions on a model's personal life. So why cannot the Leo thread have the same rules without people complaining it is suppressing opinions. It does get tiresome to read over and over again the same criticisms about his dating life. Why does it concern anybody I really do not know. If he dated someone or married someone you approved of, that makes him a better person? and I so agree that all the women Leo has dated, they all have their own minds and free will and have gotten a lot from their relationship with Leo (not just talking about the attention), so it is not a one-sided thing.
  10. oxford, the man in front of Kevin C and next to Vincent L is actor Scott Bloom who was in Don's Plum and also JohnQ (with Kevin C). http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0089231/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1 Leo is like most people, a combination of things - he is confident but also he kind be shy. BTW being rich and famous does not necessarily mean one is confident either.
