Jamie is now officially Christian Grey!
If you've never seen Jamie act, you're truly missing out. I bought Netflix just so I could watch him on The Fall, and he is truly outstanding in his role. Much more than just a pretty face. I only wish the series wasn't so short. When I originally read Fifty Shades, I imagined Henry Cavill in the role of Christian. Jamie would be my only real substitute. I'm a bit worried that the role might be damaging to the career of whomever is chosen, simply because of the subject matter, but if it's done right I think it could be a lot of fun. If Jamie is truly interested in getting the role, I hope it is awarded to him. I'm a Skarsgard fan, too, but I believe Jamie deserves it more. He needs the recognition and if not this role, I hope he is "discovered" soon in something even greater. He definitely has the talent.
It's funny because I've been working on a story for a while now, with Magdalena as the avatar for my heroine. She plays...a waitress.
