    Leo DiCaprio will be a hot stock character in Martin Scorsese’s ‘Wolf of Wall Street’

    Confidenti@l has learned exclusively that Leo DiCaprio is set to “bare it all” in the highly anticipated Martin Scorsese flick “The Wolf of Wall Street.”

    “There will be some pretty illicit sex scenes coming up,” said a set insider. “It involves four guys and two girls.”

    And there’ll even be a little guy-on-guy action in one of the orgies — but DiCaprio won’t be in those. Not that there would be anything wrong with that.

    Scorsese’s film follows the rise and eventual imprisonment of drugged-out real-life former stockbroker Jordan Belfort, who is now a motivational speaker and says he has been sober since his life imploded in the go-go late ’90s and he went to prison.

    The movie started shooting in the Financial District over the weekend and there’ll be more filming in midtown this week. Later this month, the action will move to a Hamptons estate.

    DiCaprio was spotted rehearsing at Bank of America with co-star Jonah Hill. Matthew McConaughey also stars, as Belfort’s mentor.

    “They were incognito and Leo didn’t take his sunglasses off the entire time,” said a Merrill Lynch source. There are some scenes you can bet will be shot strictly behind closed doors. “We have a scene in an office with a troupe of hookers during a coffee break,” the set insider told us. “They are in the process of casting a ton of beautiful models, who are willing to bare it all, to portray escorts and strippers,” our source said. “The girls have to be incredibly hot.”

    And there’ll be drugs. Lots of drugs. “Leo has a scene coming up where he is completely out of his mind on drugs with the other brokers,” our source says. “Cocaine and Quaaludes will be a big part of the movie.”

    To make the scenes look real, “they are asking the actors to get comfortable with snorting baby laxative. They all have to indulge heavily in cocaine.”

    The real-life Belfort, who wrote two books about his scandal days, once admitted he “drowned my guilt and remorse beneath elephantine doses of recreational drugs.”

    The R-rated movie is due out next year. A rep for DiCaprio declined comment.

    Martin Scorcese, Leonardo DiCaprio & Amy Adams in NYC

    I see a "holy grail" A lister name but he doesn't stop first couple times I see him.... Leonardo DiCaprio. I decide to try for legendary film director Martin Scorsese whos also at this spot. My friend saw him a couple times earlier but he wouldn't stop. We find his car and we hear when hes leaving hes cool about greeting the fans. All 9 of us line up orderly close to his car and he takes photo ops with all of us. I brought a couple items for him to sign but decide not to pull them out until my friends get their photo ops to ensure that they get them. I pull them out before he heads to his car but he is quickly walking to his car and doesn't stop to sign the two photos I brought. Im slightly disappointed there but still happy I got a photo op with a film legend.

    Next we go to the spot where Leonardo DiCaprio is and we wait. I have heard hes not too fan friendly so i wasnt expecting much here. There is a girl waiting about 10 feet away from on the other side of Leos car and he sees her and goes to her first.... and shockingly he takes a self blast photo with her and signs an autograph. After that the rest of us (all 8 of us) swarm on DiCaprio hoping to produce the same luck. Two more of us are lucky to get self blast photo ops (and they are guys surprisingly). I couldn't get next to him because everyone was crowding around him but I held my photo of him out and he signed it. Sadly when we swarmed around him he was right near his car door so I knew my chances at a photo op at this point were bleak. I do have hope now because at first I thought DiCaprio was so hard to get that you couldn't get anything out of him but now I know, there is a chance so I hope to get one in the future.

    Poll: Who Should Play Frank Sinatra for Martin Scorsese?

    There’s only one Frank Sinatra.

    We doubt there is anyone – old, young or somewhere in the middle – that doesn’t immediately recognize that smooth voice, and feel a little cooler and sexier. He was a cultural icon with the kind of life (USO tours, Oscars, Las Vegas, the Rat Pack, supposed Mob ties, Ava Gardner…) just begging for a big-budget biopic.

    Martin Scorsese (everyone’s dream director for a Sinatra movie) is currently in pre-production on “Sinatra,” and has given “The Hunger Games” screenwriter Billy Ray the heavy task of trying to compress the man into a manageable run time. Things are getting serious! All that’s missing now is Sinatra himself – or, rather, the man brave enough to step into those impeccably polished wingtips.

    We’ve put together a list of guys we think might be up to the task, and included a poll so you can vote for the one you think could capture Old Blue Eyes best. Don’t agree with any of our six? Then make your case in the comments below.

    Leonardo DiCaprio

    DiCaprio is almost certainly in the running due to his close friendship with Scorsese, his taste for big biopics and his uncanny ability to wear retro suits and hats. He’s also a pretty close physical match to Sinatra – they’re both blue-eyed, sharp-jawed and share the same heart-melting grin. (DiCaprio will have to dye his hair, of course, but that will only make the blue eyes pop better.) We know DiCaprio can act the heck out of the part… but can he sing it? And can he loosen up to capture Sinatra’s effortless, swinging sultriness?

    DiCaprio and girlfriend spotted on Nantucket

    Try as they might to keep a low profile, it was hard to miss Hollywood hunk Leonardo DiCaprio and his girlfriend, Erin Heatherton , at the Beachside Bistro on Nantucket over the weekend. The cute couple spent most of the day Sunday lounging, eating, and drinking at the seaside spread that’s part of Danielle deBenedictis and Peter Karlson ’s Summer House compound. Hard to say why the pretty pair is here, but Heatherton does have a role in Adam Sandler ’s “Grown Ups 2,” and DiCaprio’s buddy Tobey Maguire is shooting director Jason Reitman ’s “Labor Day” (which was due to to shoot in Winchester Monday.) DiCaprio is cooling his heels because the release date of his latest film, Baz Luhrmann ’s “Great Gatsby,” has been pushed to next summer. . . . Boston actress Ari Graynor was at the Revere Hotel on Monday for a screening of her movie “For a Good Time, Call. . . ” She was joined by her costar Lauren Miller , wife of actor Seth Rogen , who has a bit part in the film.) . . . Former Celtic Shaquille O’Neal is back in the Bay State to film more scenes for “Grown Ups 2.”
