  1. I agree that he isn't desperate for an Oscar although of course any actor would like to get one. I think the "desperate" label came because it's a humorous internet thing and because he consistently does work that are Oscar-caliber.
  2. wow, nice pic. Looks like they're pretty close friends. Love Emile.

  4. hi sweetGaby - I like what you wrote.
  5. I haven't had a chance to view the new trailer that much yet but is Samuel L. Jackson in the trailer at all? I didn't see him. Hi BarbieErin
  6. thanks to all who shared the new photos, videos, articles. Normally, I stay away from responding to personal stuff expressed here because for me (and this is not a diss to anyone who thinks differently), all that does not matter that much to me; for me. it's all about the movies and his personality in interviews and appearances, and I would be lying if I did not include that I like his looks - the last, as time goes on, comes to matter less and less. Back to the personal stuff, I would say that unless he lives in a vacuum, he probably realizes and knows what is said out there about his personal life; a lot of what is said demeaning and he is a target of ridicule. Despite that, he lives his life without worrying about the IMAGE or what people PERCEIVE from the outside, that is what make him special to me and what I like a LOT. Do I think everything he does is wonderful, "normal", easy to understand ? No. no, and no. But if he conformed to everything that people want him to be, then he wouldn't be Leo. Like oxford quoted photographer Greg Gorman writing about Leo:"he is the person most comfortable in his own skin that he has ever known" (that may not be the exact wording, word for word but I think it is 99% correct)- that about sums it up. When I read that, I thought, hmmm, is that really so? Then, I realized, yes, I can see where Gorman is coming from. Definition of "comfortable in one's own skin" = Relaxed and confident in one's manner of presenting oneself and interacting with others; conveying the impression that one has a clear, satisfying understanding of one's own abilities and situation.

  10. I like him..and I think he's going to be a wonderful Spiderman.
  11. oxford, great news about the Django Unchained trailer. Too bad ET always manages to ruin trailers by their annoying voiceovers. Thanks for the video, SickAsmySecret. Nice to see Leo meeting up with Jonah Hill - hope that means the upcoming film is in full mode and set to go very soon after Django Unchained wraps/
  12. That third photo - :wub2:

I loved this movie. He makes the best Mr. Rochester.
  16. The woman pictured with Leo and Bar looks familiar to me also. I am guessing it was for a Global Green event during a past Oscar season time. A Charlie Rose Green room clip I've never seen before. I hope he makes an appearance again. http://www.charlierose.com/view/clip/10099 http://www.charlierose.com/guest/view/1159
  17. Hi MakeItCount. Found the following on your website - thanks! and this one, obviously from a while back was new to me - rare to see Leo and Bar photog'd at some event
  18. Thank you Katchitup and Amandine for the candid photos. From NY TImes article about an up and coming actress which mentions Leo as one of the actors she admires
  19. Girl, I did not notice that was Leo in the background until you mentioned. Excited to see Christopher Waltz and Leo in the same movie hope they have a lot of screen time together. I have an appreciation of Waltz after seeing Carnage this weekend. Loved the film - Jodie Foster, Kate Winslet and John C. Reilly was the rest of the cast.
  20. Pami, that photo is from the set of GONY. Leo on the left and Daniel Day-Lewis is the other.
  21. Lot of new and interesting photos, Amandine - thanks a lot for taking the time to post so many photos. Wijn - thank you for bringing the new Django Unchained photos.
