Baz Luhrmann's movie Moulin Rouge was suppose to open Christman 2000 and was delayed until summer 2001. What happened? Well the picture went on to grab 8 oscar nominations. Just because the picture was delayed doesn't mean it will not be good. If the film is great the nominations will come in 2014. WB's spent over 100 million dollars to make this movie so I'm sure they want to release it when they believe they will make the most money. December was already packed with too many movies (way too many IMO). I would rather have Baz make the movie he intended to make instead of rushing the film to meet a deadline.

Terence Winter On Wolf Of Wall Street Shooting starts tomorrow for Scorsese There isn't a whole lot of news in this snippet from Terence Winter, screenwriter of The Wolf Of Wall Street, who spoke to our Joe Cunningham recently about Boardwalk Empire. But he does give us a tiny bit of news, which is that Martin Scorsese's new film starts shooting tomorrow. "The Wolf of Wall Street, we’re actually very deep into prep on that and it starts shooting in New York on the 8th of August." He continued, "It’s the true story of a guy named Jordan Belfort, based on his memoir. Jordan was an extremely successful stock broker in the mid-'90s, when he was in his early 20s, making upwards of $50 million a year. He had his own brokerage firm; he sort of skirted some of the security laws and ended up going to jail, had a rollercoaster ride of a life. He got into just about every drug on the planet, just unbelievable. It’s the comic, tragic, at times horrifying story of this rise and fall of a Wall Street whizz kid, and it’s just not like any other movie involving that subject matter and it’s going to be terrific. "Leonardo DiCaprio stars in the film as Jordan. It was just an incredible book. I read it five or six years ago in less than 24 hours and I couldn’t put it down; the story is just unbelievable. JGL is my current 2nd favorite actor right behind Leo of course. Anyways this is one of my favorite interviews that he has done. I love when he sings at 7:34 mark. He has an awesome singing voice.

But the movie in question isn't The Master? If I'am not wrong Philip Seymour Hoffman is the leading actor so this means probably Joaquin is the supporting actor, or Am I mistaken? whoa, so many songs that mention Leo.

Barilace I believe if Joaquin is nominated it will be for best actor not best supporting actor. Leo probably has a better chance of being nominated for best supporting actor for Django. So he wont be competing with Leo unless Leo is nominated for great gatsby.
