I didn't like her at the VS show. They could've made her look MUCH better. Her hair shouldn't of been parted down the middle, heck Natasha's wasn't, why didn't they follow her example.

That's because 90% of Americans think anyone with big hair, five tons of makeup, and skimy clothes is hot. Have you seen the girls at the Miss America pageant? None of those girls with the exception of a handful are anything special without all that makeup. Even the hotter girls like Ale and Miranda Kerr look really like hot girls on the streets. Ana BB is gorgeous and there are a few others that stand out but really none of those girls are striking. They might as well save money and get normal tall thin girls off the street. Instead of paying Jessica stam 6 figures to do the show. no... 90% of americans think anyone with big boobs, bouncing booty and a dumb look on their face is hot. they want their sex appeal flapping about in the breeze. other people appreciate a little more finesse and subtlety... esp. in high fashion, which VS is not. you're welcome to you're preferences, and honestly, you can keep 'em. and strawberry i hate your idea of a model... you hate mine... so what. theres no one FACT of whats hot and what people like. you'd better be damn good looking calling that many fashion models ugly... of all things... UGLY?!? maybe not sexy to some people... but UGLY?!? That's not true. Some of the high fashion models are pretty but a lot that were in the VS show were just average. Also most high fashion models today aren't even good models. Nothing Caroline Winberg did wowed me and nothing Tyra Banks did highfashion wise wowed me either. So isn't it better to just have better looking girls if they're going to be nothing special at modeling anyway? My idea model differs a bit from Strawberry's. Models shouldn't be all about looks, they should be about personality and versality. A lot of the weird looking models don't have that even when people say they do. Models today just suck. If you look at the up and coming models that are 13/14-18/19, they all suck and are boring. Casting directors are just stupid. If you look back at history once Kate Moss became big, they began finding waifish models just like her. They didn't understand that she was unique not because of her waifish appearence but because she had that something special. Now when Gemma became big people thought "Oh maybe if we pick 1000 other alien-like girls they will be great modles aswell". They don't realize that personality makes someone unique rather than look.

She's not ugly, she's just boring and unoriginal. Yet everyone is going to say she's original because she sticks her eyes out like that. Some of her pictures are nice though but she's nothing special.

I don't think Gemma is lucky. I love Gemma!!! She's my close number 2 right behind Jeisa. She was unique and she was a great model, the other copies of her are horrible. They're just lucky she's so great is what I meant. The difference with Gemma and these other clone alien models is she does have personality and her editorials stand out. She can transform herself into anything. The clone models just try to look as weird as possible and they get work. I yawn at their editorials.

But atleast if they had a voiceover make it a good one. Seriously. Also probably because everyone knows what Penelope's voice sounds like. Doutzen's accent isn't really that heavy.

The voice they used instead of hers is awful. It sounds like she's some crazed murderer. Why didn't they just use her voice? Everyone loves an accent.

Gosh Doutzen is even more gorgeous than before.

This whole weird model thing has gone way too far seriously. She's not even a good model. She looks ridiculous opening her eyes wide like that on the runway. It's just ridiculous. A lot of these girls are uglier than me. So basically I don't see what's so special about them and why they deserve to be on the runways at Milan and Paris and such and such.

I agree with SBM. Like for example different clothes look good on different girls. Also going offtopic a bit even in high fashion. Some clothes look better on curvy women. We're not talking like some huge monster, we're talking curvy like Tyra back in the day. I'm sure there are def. elegant and sophisticated size 6s or size 8s. I know the sample sizes are size 0 but size 0 isn't that skinny!!! Size 0 is maybe like Caroline T and Lily Cole. And they're not anorexic. But going back to VS. More variety, more sex appeal. For the pink section they should have models like Miranda Kerr that guys find hot, but girls think are cute. For the constumes, they should do male fantasies. I know they did schoolgirls this time but seriously having some skinny girl carrying a blanket down the runway isn't what guys drool over. Have them do superhero costumes and have some of the models dress like catwoman or some other sexy heros, I'm not that creative when it comes to thinking up costume lingerie but you get the idea. Also have the models wear more solid colors. A lot of the girls look bad when you put all these wacky colors on them. Most of the models actually look best backstage. I want more outfits like the one Doutzen wore at the VS fashion show 2005. The red one. I'm also annoyed at how VS claims theylook for curvy girls when they cast. All they do is pick the top 20 girls on the fashion scene. Also more black models, they just strut better than the white girls. Just more variety like was said before. I hope they don't cancel the show!!!
