I saw it yesterday and really enjoyed it! I wouldn't say it's the most brilliant movie ever or anything, but it was great fun/pretty/well acted. Also Leo, as per usual, killed it. God he was fantastic. I loved how he balanced not only making Gatsby come across as some big shot but also adding in those secretive/try hard/needing almost creepy ownership and control over his life/loves. YES GOOD. LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEO BABY.

They said " diCaprio has a smooth, sun-kissed charisma" and that's it. But that "edgerton commands the audiences attention" and has the "film's most nuanced performance." But who cares lol. Let's be real, the majority are going to go see it for Leo or just because they like the book/time period movies. I like Joel but <<< Leo.

Well Entertainment Weeklg gave Gatsby a B- and praised Joel e's performance. But who cares. Leo is fabulous. Lol. And I'm really looking forward to seeing it tomorrow. YAAAY! And god those pics are doing if for me. The dark hair and the stubble - yes please.

I think I'm going to go see it this Saturday - or possibly Friday. But I think Saturday. AND I AM REALLY EXCITED SINCE I LOVE BAZ'S MOVIES MOST OF THE TIME DUE TO THE COLORS AND ETC. And of course...Leo, my husband. Lol. Thanks for all that's been posted, everyone. Also, I don't think it even matters if the critics don't like this movie. The audience isn't going to pay that much attention to what the critics say when people spend bunches of dollars to go see stuff like Thor and horror movie crap. Leo already has his 20 mil and I bet the movie is going to make major $$$ - just a feeling I have since people have seemed excited over it - so I don't think we should worry if critics are snarky. People that pay attention to pop culture/movies/etc like this have been against this project since day one because for some reason they have such a connection to this book - which I've always found rather meh, lol (but the movie looks awesome and lively imo) - and something against Leo and Baz. L A M E. ha.

I'm so proud. Leo looks like he cut down on the beer/carbs (yum carbs yay carbs carbs rule lololol diets suck)/pot munchies before the premiere - or maybe just in general - which resulted in less face bloat. Also he seems to not have tanned his face a burnt sienna - still, I wish he'd stop on the whole tanning bs. It's not like he's as pale as a ghost in the first place. He has a natural golden tinge to his skin anyway. Just chill with that, Leo/Leo's people. His natural skin color is fine. Good lord. STILL HE LOOKS GOOOOOOD.
