Here's a challenge that I hope someone can help with. The first two Victoria's Secret catalogs have four models, three appear in the first catalog, all three reappear in the second catalog and a fourth is added, plus a guy who we really don't care about, but if someone wants to identify him, feel free to add to the historical record. There are two blondes, a brunette, and the redhead is added for the second catalog. I have heard a rumor that the brunette is Barbara Minty, Steve McQueen's last wife, but can't really confirm this by looking at the pictures. I've also heard that one of the models became a devout Christian shortly after the catalogs came out and doesn't really talk about her past, but that could be just a rumor.
The catalogs were shot in 1978-79 in the San Francisco area I believe - the photographer is listed as Robert Blakeman who appears to still be active in Los Angeles.
I've shown only the tamer shots, the catalog contained non-airbrushed sheer nudity in those days. And FWIW, the catalogs will be listed for sale this weekend on eBay for anyone who's interested in owning them. But it would be nice to solve the mystery of who the first models were - I've found no record of it anywhere.
