I'm so glad I get that catalog. My copy arrived today. Some of the inside shots are simply amazing too.

Neo was correct. I gave you the entire image scaled as large as possible without cropping anything away., That's why the stripes were required. To get an image 864 high the width would be (864/732)*707~834 wide leaving (1152-834)/2=159 inch wide bands on either side. The other option is to scale and crop. That's what I did here. You'll notice most of her lower body is gone.

We're not the only one's that play with digital images. I just received the same catalog and Ale is on the cover in the same suit, but its blue!

This weekends scan:

I use the cloning tool in Gimp. Free Adobephopshop like software available at www.gimp.org. It basically is used to copy other parts of the image over the text in a very efficient way.

Maybe one of these days I'll even get as good as Duro
