I feel like the thread is bare with no pictures lately. Seems everyone just takes to talking about how great, honourable and deserving George Clooney is.

OMG! I just found MY Identical sarcastic twin WOOOOO! SARCASM TWINS! I'm adoring the Kirk Lazarus/Tropic Thunder reference. I agree with everyone, he is very deserving of it. I'll be honest, I think he is actually few of the actors these days who do deserve it... but he doesn't need a shiny gold statue to tell him how good of an actor he is! He's outstanding, he knows it, the world knows it... it'd be so incredible if he could get one and I'm 100% he'll receive one in lifetime and I have everything crossed in hoping he will, but I don't like the way people are thinking it's the 'be all and end all' of acting. It isn't, I'm not surprised he didn't get a nomination just for the fact... well, I know the track record of "the academy and Leo". I feel like I'm talking out of my ass right now, but I doubt he's going home crying himself to sleep every night then waking up and crying into his waffles and coffee over the fact he hasn't won one yet. I'm guessing he is gutted which I would be too, but the way the internet and media are going on, they're making out he'll be in an insane asylum in a few years time in a straight jacket, rocking backwards and forwards in a fucking corner and banging his head against a padded wall whaling over how he hasn't got an Oscar. He has nothing to be ashamed of because he hasn't won one, doesn't make him any less of an actor. Wow, I just read that back and it sounds as if I'm saying he'll never get one. Which I'm not. I don't really know how to end this rant. So erm, picture Jack Dawson. That is all. I also have a feeling I may be alone in saying all of that... ... It's so darn cold, luckily I have nothing to do so I can just sit around with the heating full blast all day. If Johnny Depp is single, I can pounce on him, then get Leo's number then party on down. The Concordia is a total tragedy, but shouldn't be compared to the Titanic as it has been in the media This has been, serious time with Shine.

You pretty much took the words out of my mouth with that one, incredible acting by Leo & Armie but were let down by a movie... in my honest opinion too? (I hope I don't get shot for this!) I don't think he would win an Oscar with this one, in no way saying his acting was bad but I think the movie let him down too much. Nomination, sure but not a win. He could surprise me though and prove me wrong My friend, the non-Leo fan thought it was all good though! So I suppose it's down to personal choice (and she kind of fell in love with Armie during the movie too!) I would go see it again if it was closer, to try and gather up a bit more of the story but shan't be seeing it again until the DVD! Getting there was hell today Hope everyone's had a good day, and thank you for the updates
