So finally saw Hoover The thing with it was that I felt like the movie was way to similar to a documentary It was like Leo (and some few like Dench) were emotional actors that were stuck in a National Geographic/History Channel infomercial about Hoover.. There were indeed some great elements in the movie, but the overload of information you get completely takes away the feelings you have for J. Edgar and the things he's going through. After watching it I completly understand J. Edgar only got nominations for Best Actor and not directing or screenplay. Leo is OUTSTANDING (although the accent -it's right, I know- still distracts me a little) but you can barely see it due to all the things that need to be explained and the flashbacks- and forwards. Like I said, Leo was great, but I'm a little dissapointed in the movie itself. It ruins Leo's performance in my opinion. But that's just what I think

DiCaprio, who stars as J. Edgar Hoover in Clint Eastwood's biopic of the former FBI chief, ranks up with George Clooney as the least likely movie stars to need a date to anything. DiCaprio put himself up on the auction block to benefit Sean Penn's J/P Haitian Relief Organization in its effort to build homes for earthquake refugees. All of the funds from the Cinema for Peace "Help Haiti Home" online auction go directly to the relief organization. The premiere, after party and meet-and-greet with DiCaprio is valued at $25,000. Leonardo Dicaprio Not Motivated By Awards Leonardo DiCaprio does not consider the awards he might win when he signs up to take on a role. Leonardo DiCaprio is not motivated by winning awards. The 'J. Edgar' star - who has been nominated for three Oscars in his career -prefers to think about the people he will work with instead of the possibility of being critically acclaimed for his parts. He said: "I don't think I ever expected anything like an Oscar ever, to tell you the truth. That is not my motivation when I do these roles. I really am motivated by being able to work with great people and create a body of work that I can look back and be proud of." The 37-year-old actor is always grateful when people are talking about movies he is in, but has come to learn not all of his films will be a success in the eyes of audiences. He told the Scotsman newspaper: "I have learned from my experiences in this industry that there is absolutely no way to control people's opinions on your performance in your movie. "You go out there, promote your film and hope people like the work you did. But they're going to respond the way they're going to respond when they're in a room with that ballot. I'm thankful people are talking about it in that capacity, but ultimately I truly have no control over it."

DWTS Season 14 Rumor – Bar Refaeli To Dance? According to Abbanibi.com, Bar Refaeli has been approached to dance on Dancing With The Stars. It sounds like they are having scheduling conflicts otherwise she might do it if they can work something out? Below is a take from the link. Unfortunately, we did not receive a comment from ABC by the time of publish, but looks like the ball has dropped and it’s up to Dancing with the Stars’ casting team to negotiate. Bar’s “hectic work schedule” includes, in the past few months, a full promo schedule for ‘Escada’ perfume plus fashion campaigns for GAP fit and Arrow (alongside Josh Duhamel).
