It seems that the rumors of their potential engagement 💍 might actually be real! Maybe he’s finally tired of chasing young models at the age of 50 🤣 But to be honest, I don’t think he’ll marry her, but they might get engaged for a while. I believe the longest relationship he ever had lasted around 5 years... and Vittoria hasn’t reached that milestone yet!

Leonardo DiCaprio Is 'Ready To Settle' With His Italian G...

Leonardo DiCaprio and his girlfriend, Vittoria Ceretti, reportedly "ready to settle," with the possibility of an engagement on the horizon.

    Sure this will happen, lol...

Agreed! It was good but it's not the best for sure!

It’s kind of difficult to decide which of his movie roles is the best!

I would say that I like Catch me if you can, inception, shutter Island, and J.Edgar!

My faves performances from Leo are in Gilbert Grape, Catch Me If You Can, Revolutionary Road, Shutter Island, Inception, Django Unchained, The Wolf of Wall Street, Once Upon a time in Hollywood and my fave of ALL The Revenant.

The 100 Best Movies of the 2020s (So Far)

    #29

“Killers of the Flower Moon” (dir. Martin Scorsese, 2023)

Martin Scorsese may like to think of “Killers of the Flower Moon” as the Western that he always wanted to make, but this frequently spectacular American epic about the genocidal conspiracy that was visited upon the Osage Nation during the 1920s is more potent and self-possessed when it sticks a finger in one of the other genres that bubble up to the surface over the course of its three-and-a-half-hour runtime.

The first and most obvious of those is a gangster drama in the grand tradition of the director’s previous work; just when it seemed like “The Irishman” might’ve been Scorsese’s final word on his signature genre, they’ve pulled him back in for another movie full of brutal killings, bitter voiceovers, and biting conclusions about the corruptive spirit of American capitalism. But if the “Reign of Terror” sometimes proves to be an uncomfortably vast backdrop for Scorsese’s  more intimate brand of crime saga, “Killers of the Flower Moon” excels as a compellingly multi-faceted character study about the men behind the massacre. Over time, it becomes the most interesting of the many different movies that comprise it: A twisted love story about the marriage between an Osage woman (the indomitable Lily Gladstone) and the white man who — unbeknownst to her — helped murder her entire family so that he could inherit the headrights for their oil fortune (Leonardo DiCaprio, giving the best performance of his career as the dumbest and most vile character he’s ever played).

Finding the right balance in this story is a challenge for a filmmaker as gifted and operatic as Scorsese, whose ability to tell any story rubs up against his ultimate admission that this might not be his story to tell. And so, for better or worse, Scorsese turns “Killers of the Flower Moon” into the kind of story that he can still tell better than anyone else: A story about greed, corruption, and the mottled soul of a country that was born from the belief that it belonged to anyone callous enough to take it. —DE

Highly disagree this is Leo best performance, not even close, but still a great performance as always. Thanks for the article.

Martin Scorsese to Direct ‘Midnight Vendetta’ — Tackles 1890 Mafia in New Orleans

I’m told that Martin Scorsese has a project currently in development that has yet to be reported on, and compared to some of the other projects he has going, it actually has a completed script.

Scorsese’s tentatively titled “Midnight Vendetta,” which just had its script submitted by the great Eric Roth (“The Insider,” “Munich”), will tackle the Mafia’s arrival in New Orleans around 1890, which marked the first major foothold of organized Italian crime in the United States.

Sicilian immigrants, many fleeing poverty and violence back home, settled in the city’s port neighborhoods, bringing with them old-world networks and rivalries. Tensions quickly escalated between local authorities and the growing Italian community, culminating in the infamous murder of Police Chief David Hennessy in 1890.

Hennessy reportedly blamed “the Dagoes” with his dying breath, triggering one of the largest lynchings in U.S. history when a mob stormed the jail and killed 11 Italian men, some with suspected Mafia ties. This event thrust the Sicilian Mafia into the national spotlight and etched New Orleans into the origin story of organized crime in America.

No surprise, I’m told Leonardo DiCaprio is yet again attached to this latest Scorsese project, although no deal has been signed. Roth previously worked with Scorsese, writing one of the later drafts of “Killers of the Flower Moon.”

Scorsese, 82, is currently working on a wide array of projects, and what might be his next film is still very much up for debate. Many of them, including “Devil in the White City” and the untitled Dwayne Johnson Hawaiian mob movie, don’t have a finished script. “Midnight Vendetta” does.

It was just a week ago that we learned Leonardo DiCaprio decided to drop out of Damien Chazelle’s “Evel Knievel Goes on Tour,” which was supposed to shoot this summer, to prioritize a new Scorsese. It seems like something is definitely imminent.

    No, thanks!

Leo mentioned in a new Lily interview with The Times. Nice to read they are still friends and in touch. 😊

“Leo is one of my better friends,” she says. “We’re in touch pretty often — when I’m in LA we hang out, when we’re in Europe we hang out.” When DiCaprio wanted to make a donation to the Osage community, he asked her advice on who to give it to. “We both really believe in grassroots organising — he knows that with large non-profits a lot of the time money goes to overheads.”

That's very cute, great to know they became such good friends, love Lily and Leo interactions during KOTFM promo.

Dwayne Johnson is Co-Writing Martin Scorsese's Hawaiian Crime Epic

I had to triple-check this story before writing anything about it, but it appears to be accurate. Dwayne Johnson is set to co-write Martin Scorsese’s upcoming Hawaiian crime epic, which will star Johnson, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Emily Blunt in the lead roles.

Johnson is co-writing the screenplay with Vanity Fair journalist Nick Bilton. The two are also collaborating on a nonfiction book about the Hawaii crime syndicate that operated in the 1960s and 1970s, which the film will adapt. The organization, known as The Company, was led by Wilford “Nappy” Pulawa — the first and only Hawaiian mob boss in history.

“This isn’t just a gangster story—it’s about power, identity, and what was taken from the Hawaiian people,” Johnson explained in a statement. He and Bilton have acquired a trove of documents that will shed new light on Pulawa’s life and legacy. “There are many months of work ahead of us,” Johnson added.

It sounds like Scorsese’s film is still in the very early stages of development, as both the book and an extensive amount of research need to be completed before the script can be finalized. A shoot likely won’t begin until sometime after 2026.

Well, he's Hawaian, he might know a bit about this story...
