  9. This one is from Mona. (Click to enlarge) What about an Apart retrospective? Apex is tempting me to do it. -- J@mes
  10. Wow that was tough! Luckily I was able to find the C program I used last time I ripped one of these catalogues. (Click to enlarge) Let me know if anything vital is missing. -- J@mes xoxo
  11. It is a shell command to be entered at the linux command prompt.
  12. 1. Went to http://www.victoriassecret.com/clothing/pants?pageAt=all 2. Saved page to desktop 3. Typed $ ls ~/Desktop/pants_files \ | sed -n '/^V.*jpg/s@^@http://media.victoriassecret.com/product/prodzoom/@p' \ | wget `cat` 4. Downloaded 130 MQ pictures. I won't call them HQ, because they are < 1MPix each. There! Not so very difficult. I would post them, but they are all boring, like the rest of the stuff on VS. Here's a clue: if they have to tell you the clothes are sexy, they probably aren't. -- J@mes
  13. Together catalog at kaleidoscope.co.uk: sorry for any duplicates! (Click to enlarge) -- J@mes
  14. I'll take that as some kind of request. No doubt better images will come later when the online catalogue is updated. (Click to enlarge) -- J@mes
  15. You are so clever! I stopped looking when I found one, difficult way of doing it, but you have found the easy way. -- J@mes
  16. From J D Williams. Not so HQ, I'm afraid. (Click to enlarge) -- J@mes
  17. If you think there are people lurking here who have a paid account at Newscom, or another site that makes its money offering images for sale, then please go ahead. You are likely to have more success if you ask for zooms of isolated pictures (or maybe a whole catalogue) from an online clothing retailer, where access to the pictures is less likely to require an account, and where the copyright will be guarded less jealously. If the techniques discussed in the HQ images thread don't work, or are too hard to use, then some of us are willing to help out when we can. The main idea in creating this thread is to avoid cluttering up the other one with lots of random pictures, because it is so useful as a reference on techniques. I think it would be nice if requests posted here contained the names of the models that appear in the requested pictures. Some of us are good at model IDs, others are good at the technical stuff, and it's good to combine our strengths. Speaking for myself, even if I ought to know a name, I often find I can't get beyond a vague feeling that "I've seen her somewhere before". Either requester or provider should post the images in the appropriate model thread afterwards. -- J@mes
  18. To answer your question, it's Scene7, but the maximum image size is small and the images are large, so you really need my tiling machine to get decent images. The URL scheme seems to change from one catalog to the next, so I won't trouble to describe the latest one here. -- J
  19. I'm making this new thread for image requests so as to avoid cluttering up the thread about how to download HQ images.
