    Dorian Leigh was born Dorian Elizabeth Leigh Parker on April 23, 1917. She was born in San Antonio, TX.

    She was married 5 times and had 5 children.

    She has been credited with opening up the first modeling agency in Paris.

    She opened up Chez Dorian in the 60's near Fountainbleau.

    Ms. Leigh passed away in a Falls Church, Virginia nursing home of Alzheimers disease.

    Dovima was born Dorothy Virginia Margaret Juba on December 11, 1927. She was later known as Dorothy Horan. Born in New York City, she was discovered by an editor at Vogue. Her most famous photo "Dovima with the Elephants"was taken by Richard Avedon. The gown she wore in that photo was the first evening dress designed for Christian Dior by his new assistant at that time, Yves St. Laurent.

    She died of liver cancer on May 3, 1990 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
