Well, the latest information (James & Petra are an item) is quoting a fashion industry insider. I'm not saying they can't be wrong or misinformed about whats going on, I'm just saying they are in the same business she is so they see & hear tons of information that the average joe does not. I don't know whats going on but the media & some of the people around her are saying one thing & Petra is saying she's just friends with all of them. From what I can gather, this all started with people saying bruce willis was trying to hook up with her. Then it was said he was bragging to people that he was dating her. THAT was when the media targeted Petra & who she was dating & they haven't let up.

From Yahoo; A fashion insider has talked to The Daily Mail (their time-Sunday night) & told them Petra's "friends" are alarmed about her relationship with James Blunt because they think he's a cad & they don't want to see her hurt. This fashion insider claims they are definately an item, that Petra has been dazzled by his attentions & his music has lifted her spirits. But, they say James is a womanizer. Actually, JB was quoted as saying his music continues to get him laid. This time, however, Petra's New York publicist said Petra has instructed us to say nothing. I guess she got sick of answering, especially since the media has pretty much said they do not believe her when she says she's just friends with these guys.

This must be a working vacation. I didn't know they were shooting anything for her new book in Cannes.

Petra looks beautiful! She's been really busy over there, judging from the literally hundreds of photos there are of her on sites like wireimage.

Robin Williams is hysterical! I've seen him in numerous interviews & you can tell he really loves to make people laugh! I've seen other pictures of him at Cannes & you can tell he's making everyone laugh.

Just wanted to add that I just read in the June 9 People magazine, page 24, that a rep for Petra has once again denied she is dating James Blunt. The rep said Petra is a fan of his music. (She's denied all the talk of her dating anyone.)

In the June 5, 2006 edition of PEOPLE magazine, there is a SHORT piece on Petra's pals. It talks about how she's been spotted with different guys like James Blunt & Kyle Boller. When a rep. for Petra was asked about the latest news, James Blunt, cd played at photo shoot, she said they're just friends & she's a fan of his music. They mention that the just friends line has become a familiar refrain. Either she's flat out lying, or they're all JUST friends.

They're shooting the book now? In Cannes? It would be a really good time & place to catch up with celebrity's because they're over there for the festival. Thanks to everyone who post all the Petra pictures!!! It's much appreciated!!

Its also that they said she played his music over & over & no one else's. That she was in a laughing, giggling mood. That was a few months ago that she said they were just friends. Its hard to tell though. They could be just friends & the media is just trying to make mountains out of molehills. The media seems to have a hard time thinking of people of the opposite sex as being just friends.

This news is all over the place! They could be just friends but , to me, it sounds more like they are dating. They say she's memorized all the words to his cd & his unreleased music. Odd, that someone would leak this kind of information. I wonder who the source was? I guess Petra really loves his music. She's gone to atleast 2 of his concerts. Has she ever said what kind of music she likes?

Contactmusic.com is reporting today that Petra is fueling rumors that she is dating JAMES BLUNT when she repeatedly played his latest cd, Back to Bedlam during a Rampage fashion shoot. When asked she said, 'Oh, I know him very well.' The source also said she was giggling & laughing during the shoot like a "proud girlfriend." This would tie in to the reports of her going to see him in that outdoor concert recently where she was singing along to music that he has yet to release.
