Agree about her Sports Illustrated shots. Several good ones, but not as good as Renard. I've always thought that Niki's calendars were like a one-woman SI Swimsuit issue in and of themselves!
You know that Sport magazine, a competitor to Sports Illustrated through the 90s, also had a swimwear issue, and that Cindy was in that? The year after she was in SISE. Crawford I mean, not Margolis. Margolis would also be in it but later.

Jean Renard outtake from one of her calendars. Her best photographer, the way Herb Ritts was for Cindy - in my opinion
Yes agree. I believe Renard did all her calendars. Her Sports Illustrated stuff was not as good. Same exact concept but her work with Renard was consistently better, and for several calendars. Ritts & Crawford was a good analogy. Especially as they teamed for Playboy, and she could have picked Glaviano or D'Orazio obviously. Though I think Cindy did great work with Newton and Skrebneski and Weber as well.

I would like to hope that the idiot, that cut her hair, has spent the intervening years feeling like a complete imbecile.
An incompetent imbecile.

Leaving Las Vegas. One-third of the book is very very good (in my opinion), one-third of it is okay, one-third of it seemed incomplete/needed editing. Great movie.
Goldfinger. Parts of the book are just fine, but parts of it I also found a bit offensive. Love the movie.
Memento the film I think is better than Memento Mori the short story.
It happens I'm reading Planet of the Apes right now (the 1963 novel by Pierre Boulle). I just started it, but so far it's good. Better than the remake for sure (so far), but I love the original film.
I want to read Cool Hand Luke. That's on my list.
A lot of the noir films could fit. If you don't like the writer's style, then you'll probably prefer the movies. Maltese Falcon or A Gun for Sale for example. I'm just not a huge fan of Dashiell Hammett or Graham Greene, for example, but love those movies.

Okay. I'll see if I can think of someone who lives in France.
By the way, do you remember the name of the magazine shop you were talking about?
-
Well, here's a chance to try it out. I have a Magazine Help Request for/from another country. I think it's very unlikely, because of the details, but never know.
Two magazines I want are listed on eBay France right now. I contacted the seller, but he won't send them to me via mail. I live in the USA. The seller lives in Lille, Nord, France.
So: Any suggestions or ideas?
-
I am tired of Ebay & their over priced stuff. I thought People could help each other here at BZ.
Like: u want a French magazine and I say "Oh i live in France, i can buy the magazine and send it to you, pm me for more details"
Yes, it's a good idea. I understand about eBay (why I said I would only see Amica on eBay -- no one ever retails/carries current issues here).
And I was having ALL this issues of French Elle TopModel but i'v lost the box they were in during a movingUgh! I would be so
I know an amazing French site where u can buy a lot of vintage magazines. They ship all over the world. I"ll Pm you.Yes, please do. Or you could post the link or info here. Possibly other BZ members might be able to use it. Just nobody buy my ELLE TOP MODEL issues. Or else.

Hi Kiki!
Good idea for a topic.
Part One: Your Request.
I'm in USA, so probably can't help with the Amica. If I see it, it would be on eBay.
For the "Vs" F/W 2011, do you mean the Victoria Secret catalog?
Part Two: My Request.
I'm looking for several of the old ELLE TOP MODEL magazines, the French editions. I think there are 22 total, and I'm missing 6 of the later ones.
Is there a good used magazine shop in France anyone could recommend?

I am sorry no one has taken the old VS catalog pix of her and scanned them right. It would be a great service.
You might search for posts from capt_bob, or send him a PM maybe. I don't know if there's anyone who posts more VS catalog stuff from the 90s, and he will typically post several different versions of the same image. I sometimes also see him on bwgreyscale. http://www.bwgreyscale.com/message_board/index.php

SPECHLESS! A new Herb Ritts exhibition in Zurich includes at least 15 never seen before pictures like this spectacular take of the famous pic of Rolling Stone Magazine, 1989
rare pics of Claudia, Christy, Tatjana, Karen, Naomi, Tully and more
check them out http://www.houkgallery.com/exhibitions/201...herb-ritts/all/
Thanks for posting! They say the exhibit is coming to the Getty in Los Angeles (a really nice museum) next year as well. That would be a bit of a drive, but so tempting.

One more. Thought a couple of these were pretty good, especially the 1st. Cartoon sketches/caricatures of Claudia:

Sort of absurd. I just got a chuckle out of it.

Working on source for this picture. I think this might be Cindy Margolis. What do you think?
Uploaded with ImageShack.us

at least you have photoshop, I don't have any program
Hi.
Try GIMP. It's like Photoshop, and free.
There are many tutorials available.

Brazilianaffair, do you happen to have this bigger?

Hi.
The 1 May Celebrity Apprentice episode featured Niki Taylor and at least 3 models in a hair show. Source is SD video, so some frames a bit blurry. Apologies. Thanks in advance for any help with the IDs.
(Sorry, I haven't used Imageshack for a while, and I got the thumbnail codes wrong -- sorry)

wow I used to watch this show. Had no idea Niki was on it.
Niki on The Mickey Mouse Club
Wow, what a great find! I think she must be about 18 there?

Hi.
Just to clarify: This thread is a little more than two years old. I started it, but didn't bump it. I don't have a problem with anyone else bumping it, but since it slightly annoys me when people keep bumping their own threads, I just wanted to clarify that I didn't.
Also adding to the confusion, I believe one panel of images has dropped out from the ImageShack service.
Thanks again to everyone who supplied an ID or suggested an ID.

I kind of agree with MK.. Looks like Analu..
FYI: Suzanne Biustonosz. means Suzanne Bra and is a part of the Gorteks' Collection.. That's not the model's name..
